Most Asked Questions

How long does shipping take?

Standard shipping delivery estimates are generally 3-7 business days for metro areas and 3-10 business days for regional areas. Delivery timeframes are estimates and may vary depending on location, courier operations, weather, peak periods, or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Do you offer free shipping?

Yes. EDIFIER Australia offers free standard shipping on most orders over $99 delivered within Australia, subject to policy conditions. Orders under $99 currently ship at $12.00 for headphones and $15.00 for speakers.

What is your return policy?

EDIFIER Australia may accept change-of-mind returns within 30 days of the original purchase date, subject to the product being unused, in original condition, returned with original packaging, and including all accessories, manuals, documentation, cables, and included components. Australian Consumer Law rights continue to apply.

Are your speakers compatible with TVs and computers?

Compatibility depends on the inputs available on both devices. Selected EDIFIER models support Bluetooth, AUX/RCA, optical, USB or HDMI ARC, but not every model supports every connection. Check the product specifications and your TV or computer outputs before purchase.

Do I need an amplifier to use your speakers?

Most EDIFIER powered speakers have built-in amplification and do not need a separate amplifier. Passive models such as P12 and P17 do not have built-in amplification and require a compatible external amplifier or receiver.

Where can I download EDIFIER apps?

Visit our Downloads page to find the official app and download links for compatible speakers and headphones.

Returns & Warranty

What does the warranty cover?

The warranty covers manufacturing defects and hardware issues under normal use. It does not cover damage caused by misuse, accidents, or unauthorized modifications.

Please contact us as soon as reasonably practicable after delivery or after discovering the issue, with photos or videos where possible. We will assess the issue and arrange a suitable solution as quickly as possible.

Products

What is the difference between active and passive speakers?

Powered (active) speakers include built-in amplification and can connect to compatible audio sources directly. Passive speakers do not include amplification and require an external amplifier or receiver. EDIFIER P12 and P17 are passive models; check each product page for its requirements.

Which speaker is best for my setup?

It depends on your use case:

  • For TV and entertainment, choose a model with an input supported by your TV, such as optical or HDMI ARC.
  • For desktop listening, consider compact powered models such as M60 or M90.
  • For studio or content creation, consider monitors such as MR3 or MR4.
  • For portable or tabletop listening, consider a model such as ES60.
How should I place my speakers for the best sound?

For stereo bookshelf or desktop speakers, start with stable placement near ear level and position the left and right speakers evenly around your listening position. Wall distance and toe-in vary by model and room, so follow the product manual and adjust by listening. Portable speakers, soundbars and subwoofers may require different placement.

Why does sound quality vary between tracks?

Different audio files and sources contain varying sound characteristics. For the best experience, try high-quality audio files and different tracks.

Why are the bass or treble levels not as expected?

Sound performance can vary depending on your environment, listening preferences, and the audio source. Adjust settings or try different tracks to optimise your experience.

Troubleshooting

The speaker does not turn on

For mains-powered models, check the power cable, wall outlet and power switch. For battery-powered models, charge the speaker using the specified cable and power requirements before trying again. Passive speakers such as P12 and P17 do not power on and must be connected to an amplifier or receiver.

Why is there no sound from my speaker?

Ensure the speaker is powered on, the correct input source is selected, and all cables are properly connected. Try adjusting the volume or testing with another device.

Sound is coming from only one speaker

Check that both speakers are properly connected and cables are secure. Try another audio source or device to identify the issue.

Cannot connect via Bluetooth

For models with Bluetooth, select the Bluetooth input and put the speaker into pairing mode, then confirm your source device is within range. Remove the old pairing record and try again if needed. Models without Bluetooth require a wired connection.

Bluetooth connection is unstable or keeps disconnecting

For models with Bluetooth, keep the source device within range and reduce interference from other wireless devices. Disconnect unused Bluetooth devices, remove the old pairing record and reconnect. Bluetooth performance can vary by model and environment.

There is distortion or noise from the speaker

Lower the input volume and check your audio source. Try using different cables or devices to isolate the issue.

Remote control is not working

For models supplied with a remote, check that the battery is installed correctly and not depleted, and ensure there are no obstacles between the remote and the speaker. Models without a remote use onboard controls or a compatible app where supported.

Left and right speaker volume is unbalanced

Check your device’s audio balance settings and ensure all cables are properly connected. Try another device to confirm whether the issue persists.
